Zhi Yi graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in Childhood and Early Years Studies from Northumbria University, Newcastle.

She has a strong interest in working with children with special needs and is committed to supporting their overall development so they can reach their fullest potential.

Zhi Yi previously worked as an Inclusion Support Advocate, supporting primary school students with special needs in integrating into both local and international mainstream schools. There, she collaborated closely with students, teachers, learning and behavioural support consultants, and parents to develop meaningful goals that enabled the children to thrive in the school environment. She also gained experience in guiding her students to participate in various classroom activities and supporting their transition to mainstream secondary schools.

Zhi Yi believes that every child is special and deserves the opportunity to improve their quality of life. She is dedicated to helping them become confident, independent learners and contributing members of society.
