Ms. Kimberly France

Deputy Senior Early Intervention Teacher

BA (Psych), AdvDip (SpEd), CIA

Kimberly graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Murdoch University, a diploma in psychology from Oklahoma University, and an advanced diploma in special education from the College of Allied Educators. She has worked extensively in her field and is highly experienced, having worked with both children and adults with special needs.

In her previous work, Kimberly was a Special Education Teacher at the Movement for the Intellectually Disabled Singapore (MINDS) with young adults who require specialised intervention to enhance their independence in daily living skills and adaptive behaviours. She also completed an internship at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) and has volunteered in various centres such as AWWA and Bishan Home for the Intellectually Disabled.

She was a Speech and Drama Teacher for preschool and kindergarten students, focusing on teaching values, manners, respect, social skills and behavioural coping strategies through speech and drama. Kimberly believes every child can be moulded and educated if given the proper attention and teaching. Every child has the potential to be the best that they can be, and working closely with parents and caregivers is essential.
