Kate is an AHPC certified speech and language therapist, trained counsellor, and adjunct faculty (College of Allied Educators) for Learning Disorders and Speech Therapy-related modules.

She has over 20 years of work experience with both children and adults, spanning various public and private settings. She works closely with parents, caregivers, and fellow medical and allied health professionals in the care of her clients.

Kate takes child-centred and holistic approach, that incorporates PROMPT, keyword signing and Gestalt play therapy principles in working with children and youths with developmental challenges.

Kate has keen passion and experience in providing psycho-social support for the parents and caregivers of special needs children. She also believes in connecting with the children and adult clients first before helping them to acquire more functional ways of expressing themselves.
