Michelle attained her Master of Education (Special Education) and Diploma in Education with NIE. She had taught in the local mainstream primary schools for more than 15 years. She is well-versed in the different pedagogical approaches adopted by the Ministry of Education as well as the framework of the different academic subjects. Besides being an experienced educator, she is also a mother of 4 children with varying special needs. Michelle has relatable parental experiences and is very familiar with the demands of the local education system on children with special needs and learning challenges. Michelle has accompanied her own children for various types of therapies and attended numerous workshops and trainings on understanding and providing intervention for children with special needs and learning disorders. Michelle enjoys exploring creative ways of teaching to help children with learning needs to fulfill their potential. She is currently supporting students from pre-primary to secondary levels.
