Joanna earned her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (Teaching) from Asian International College. Fascinated by the diverse ways children learn, she pursued further education, completing an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) with NiEC and obtaining a Certificate in Autism from the Autism Resource Centre. She is also trained in the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), an augmentative and alternative communication tool.

Since 2011, Joanna has been dedicated to working with young children, finding immense joy in the process. Her expertise extends to employing diverse teaching approaches, including the Singapore preschool curriculum, Reggio Emilia, International Baccalaureate, and TEACCH. 

At The SKILT Centre, Joanna’s experience and keen understanding of pedagogy enable her to adeptly tailor lessons to suit her student’s unique needs and support their growth.
