We are on the lookout for Educational Therapists to join our team.

The Role:

• Develop and adapt lesson plans for students with diverse learning needs that may challenge them in a mainstream classroom setting.

• Teach MOE primary and secondary school curriculum subjects such as Mandarin, Science, Mathematics, and English.

• Deliver clear and effective one-to-one lessons with students.

• Monitor each student’s academic progress and prepare progress reports.

• Work collaboratively with parents to address issues related to their child’s learning.

• Maintain and update case notes promptly and independently after sessions.

• Attend inter-department training, case discussions, staff consultations, and other meetings as required by management.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Childhood Psychology, or Teaching.

• Relevant experience working in mainstream schools is an advantage.

• Experience supporting children with developmental or learning difficulties (e.g. Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, ASD).

• Training in structured literacy/numeracy programmes (e.g. Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell, dyscalculia interventions).

• Ability to guide children with challenging behaviour and apply structured teaching strategies (e.g. TEACCH approach).

• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.

• Able to teach on full Saturdays and travel between Upper Thomson & Bukit Timah centres.

• Current MOE teachers with relevant experience may apply for flexible working arrangements.
