Educational Therapist
We are on the lookout for Educational Therapists to join our team.

The Role:
-
Develop and adapt lesson plans for students with diverse learning needs that may challenge them in a mainstream classroom setting.

Teach MOE primary and secondary school curriculum subjects such as Mandarin, Science, Mathematics, and English.

Deliver clear and effective one-to-one lessons with students.
-
Monitor each student’s academic progress and prepare progress reports.
-
Work collaboratively with parents to address issues related to their child’s learning.
-
Maintain and update case notes promptly and independently after sessions.

Attend inter-department training, case discussions, staff consultations, and other meetings as required by management.

Requirement:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Childhood Psychology, or Teaching.

Relevant experience working in mainstream schools is an advantage.
-
Experience supporting children with developmental or learning difficulties (e.g. Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, ASD).

Training in structured literacy/numeracy programmes (e.g. Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell, dyscalculia interventions).
-
Ability to guide children with challenging behaviour and apply structured teaching strategies (e.g. TEACCH approach).

Strong command of English, both written and spoken.

Able to teach on full Saturdays and travel between Upper Thomson & Bukit Timah centres.

Current MOE teachers with relevant experience may apply for flexible working arrangements.
