Speech & Language Therapist

​​The Role:

  • Identify and assess individual therapy needs of clients using appropriate assessment tools and forms.

  • Develop effective tools and strategies for identification, assessment, and intervention.

  • Formulate and implement individual and group therapy programmes for clients with speech and language disorders, social communication difficulties, dyslexia, autism, ADHD, and related needs.

  • Provide intervention through one-to-one sessions, group/classroom support, work experience, or other specialised settings as required.

  • Evaluate and document clients’ therapy needs and progress regularly, reviewing and refining interventions as needed.

  • Provide consultation and updates on clients’ status to relevant staff and caregivers.

  • Collaborate with teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as families and caregivers, to enhance the effectiveness of services.

  • Prepare written reports and case notes on assessments conducted, including therapy recommendations.

  • ​Attend inter-department training, case discussions, staff consultations, and other meetings as required by management.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Speech & Language Pathology / Speech Therapy recognised by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in speech-language pathology; prior experience in a special education setting is an advantage.

  • Knowledge and experience working with children with special needs across a wide range of disabilities.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

  • High standard of report writing.

  • Able to work on Saturdays.
