Meet Jayden!

Jayden, 17, arranges flowers from his home. Jayden is autistic and apraxic, which means he is largely non-verbal and communicates mainly through typing.

He discovered flower arranging at the age of ten, while accompanying his mother to choose flowers for a cousin’s wedding. What began as an ordinary errand has become a form of expression through colors, textures, shapes and forms.

Flower arranging is an endeavour Jayden and his mother, Jennifer undertake together. In her words, “Whatever he needs, I help him lor.”

Outside of arranging, he enjoys swimming, playing the piano, and the steady rhythm of chores like folding laundry and cleaning. Beading is another pastime he enjoys, counting each bead until he feels calm again.

Independent by nature, Jayden prefers learning things on his own and often takes on tasks his mother hasn’t yet tried. Every bouquet he makes is original and reflects that same independence.

Each arrangement is one of a kind, made without words but full of life.

From their hands and home to yours, they hope their flowers bring a touch of lively cheer and sweetness to you and your loved ones.

No two bouquets are ever the same — just like the people we hold dear.
