Special Needs Therapist
​The Role:
-
Assess and support children’s behavioural, social, and emotional needs.

Develop and implement intervention plans based on assessment findings.

Provide regular updates to parents after each session and share strategies to reinforce progress at home.

Collaborate with parents, preschool teachers, intervention teachers, and therapists to understand the child’s needs across different settings (home and school).
-
Provide support in areas such as in-class behavioural management, psychotherapy, school shadowing, and school-based support services.

Maintain accurate case notes after each session to document progress and behavioural changes.
-
Carry out administrative duties related to case management.

Attend inter-department training, case discussions, staff consultations, and other meetings as required by management.

Requirement:
-
Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or Early Childhood (Special Needs).
-
Relevant certifications and related qualifications are an advantage.
-
Minimum 1 year of experience providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for children with special needs.
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with families and professionals.
-
Able to work on Saturdays.
