Ms. Sarah Ramirez

Early Intervention Teacher

MA Counselling Psychology, BSc Behavioural Science (Psychology), Certificate in Early Intervention, Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills

Sarah is an experienced educator and early intervention teacher with over four decades of teaching experience. She has worked extensively with children with diverse learning and developmental needs and in various settings.

Her qualifications include a background in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelor of Science in Behavioural Science (Psychology) and training in Early Intervention and Therapeutic Play Skills. Sarah’s expertise in special education has also included supporting students as a shadow teacher in preschool settings, conducting counselling and assessments and working as a reading specialist.


Throughout her career, Sarah has taught a wide range of subjects including Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology and Religious Education. Yet, she considers working with children with special needs her true calling. She is deeply committed to creating inclusive, collaborative, and nurturing environments where every child feels safe, valued, and empowered to learn.


Beyond the classroom, Sarah actively gives back to her community by conducting training for educators in her home country, the Philippines—sharing practical skills and knowledge to better support children with special needs.
