Ms. Usha

Usha has been supporting children with learning challenges (ASD, ADHD, and SpLD) since 2018, equipping them and their families with the skills needed for daily living and learning skills to thrive in their educational journey.


She has directed early intervention programmes alongside a team of allied health professionals and special education teachers in collaboration with ECDA.


Usha employs an eclectic, evidence-based approach methods including Orton-Gillingham, Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment, Search and Teach, and Handwriting Without Tears.


Alongside academic support, her students also benefit from individualised cognitive training promoting executive functioning skills, self-regulation skills, and social skills enabling them to build positive relationships with their families and friends.


Usha believes a person's ability to learn can be improved with the provision of a conducive learning environment. As a mediator, she adapts herself to each student's learning style, providing a safe space that allows them to develop better social-emotional regulation and learn at their own pace.
