Occupational Therapist

Diploma in Occupational Therapy (Singapore)
Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Occupational Therapy (Edinburgh, UK)

Rachelle graduated with a Diploma in Occupational Therapy from Nanyang Polytechnic and later completed a degree conversion programme at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. She has been fully registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (Singapore) since 2014.

Rachelle has worked with children aged 2 to 16 and their families across both the private and social service sectors in individual and small-group settings. Her work supports children with a range of developmental needs, including GDD, ASD, ADHD, DCD, and cerebral palsy, with a strong focus on school readiness shaped by more than 5 years of experience in Developmental Support and Learning Support (DSLS) programmes within preschool classrooms.

As a mother of two, Rachelle understands the importance of developing skills for school readiness and the challenges faced by parents and educators alike. She strongly advocates for family–school partnerships through active listening and open communication.

In intervention sessions, Rachelle engages children in developmentally appropriate activities that support self-regulation, social and motor skills, guided by each child’s interests and readiness.
