Mr. Alexander Lee

Psychotherapist

Master of Child Psychology
Master of Counselling
Postgraduate Diploma in Play Therapy

Alexander holds a Master's Degree in Child Psychology from UCSI University (Malaysia) and a Master's Degree in Counselling from Monash University (Australia).

He has worked across the social service sector and international school settings. His professional background includes child protection work supporting survivors of abuse, crisis intervention at a suicide prevention centre, and community mental health services.

Grounded in trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and play therapy, his practice focuses on helping young children and youths build self-awareness and emotional literacy. He believes that when children have the language to recognise, understand, and express their emotions, they are better equipped to navigate relationships and cope with life's challenges.

He works collaboratively with parents throughout the therapeutic process as he recognises that a child's wellbeing is deeply connected to the people who care for them. He aims to support lasting change that extends beyond the therapy room through strengthening emotional connection and communication at home with the child's primary caregivers.
